School Round-Up: Forest Glade and East Windsor

Forest Glade is located on the East side of the Greater Windsor Area and is most easily accessed via E.C. Row Expressway or Tecumseh Road East. It has quickly become a popular area for new and growing families to call home. East Windsor represents a great area for new buyers to break into the market and Windsor REALTORS® have been busy in the area with an influx of first-time home buyers looking for houses for sale in Forest Glade. Similarly to South Windsor, a big reason this area is so popular is because of the schools.

Starting with the Windsor-Essex Catholic District School Board, the following schools can be found in Forest Glade:

H.J. Lassaline Catholic Elementary School
- Located just off Forest Glade Drive on Wildwood Drive, this school is located right across from Forest Glade Arena, Forest Glade Skatepark, and Forest Glade baseball diamonds
LA Desmarais Catholic Elementary School
- Also located just off Forest Glade Drive, on Eastcourt Drive is LA Desmarais. The school itself is situated in Stillmeadow Park
St. Joseph’s Catholic High School
- Situated on Clover Avenue between McHugh Street and Tecumseh Road East is the Catholic high school for the area

The Greater Essex County District School Board has these schools in the area:

Eastwood Public School
- Located directly on Forest Glade Drive, this school is one of two to be combined for a future brand new public school for Forest Glade
Parkview Public School
- Located on Stillmeadow Road, the other half of the Forest Glade public schools slated to merge into the new to-be-built school
Forest Glade Public School
- Located on Esplanade Drive, this school is situated next to greenspace that part of the Ganatchio Trail runs through
Roseville Public School
- Located just South of Tecumseh Road East off of Jefferson Boulevard on Roseville Garden Drive this school is located directly next to Roseville Park

The French Catholic school board has both an elementary school in Forest Glade as well as the school board’s head office:

École élémentaire catholique Sainte-Thérèse
- Located directly on Tecumseh Road East just West of Jefferson
Conseil scolaire catholique Providence
- Located on Forest Glade Drive just off E.C Row Expressway via the Lauzon Parkway exit is the main board offices for CSC Providence

Finally the Forest Glade area is home to one private academy:

A21 Academy Prep
- A21 Academy Prep is located inside of the WFCU Centre on McHugh Street and is primarily a hockey prep school with both educational and athletics facilities in the same space
