In our last post we started talking about how springtime is here and that means many of us are eager to get our spring cleaning underway. We discussed the lawn in our last post and today we’ll take a more all encompassing look at the home. The whole home should look fresh inside and out! We’ve got some tips and tricks below to help you out this spring to get your home sparkling inside and out.

Outdoor Cleaning:

Clean your exterior windows, power wash the driveway, and clean out your gutters.
Trim up your landscaping & rake up all the leaves leftover from the fall.
Tidy up your garage.
If you're from the county then you already know, spray for spiders!

Indoor Cleaning:

Replace batteries in your smoke & carbon monoxide detectors as well as test them.
You've already started cleaning, keep going and replace all furnace filters, dryer vents, etc. while you're at it.

Aesthetic:

Prepare your garden, get all of your seeds (herbs, veggies, seasonal plants) & soil. Plan out what you want to grow this season.
Clean & get all of your lawn furniture ready.
Go to your local flower shop & grab some pots and planters for your front door. Get yourself some fresh flowers while you're at it to decorate your dining & coffee tables!
