Seller’s Guide: Spring Flowers and a Pop of Colour

It remains a great time to be a seller should your situation allow you to be. Buyers are returning to the market and renewing their hunts for Windsor homes and houses for sale Windsor, Ontario. In fact you’ll hear many Windsor REALTOR®s urging their clients to get back into the marketplace to find a home for sale in Windsor. But seller beware, those signs of levelling happening in the middle-level market homes means it is not like even just a few months ago where it seemed like all you had to do was list. Be sure to make sure your home is properly prepared to hit the market. We’ve discussed in the past things like cleaning, organizing, and staging. As spring turns to summer we have another way to spruce your home up for showings.

Flowers! Fresh flowers make everything better. That rings true in not only relationships but in real estate as well. If you are selling and have showings coming up, a nice touch is to add some flowers to the mix.⁠ Don’t over do it though, quantity does not equal quality. Aim for some thoughtful, targeted pops of colour in the home. You want an accent piece, not a distraction.⁠

Also be wary of strong scents. You do not overwhelm the space with fragrance. Strong smells can turn-off some potential buyers, be mindful that some may not like or be sensitive to scents. They also do not need to be expensive. For example, Tulips are bright and cheerful while being inexpensive.⁠
