We’ve chatted a lot in this space about the Windsor real estate market and the happenings inside of it. We’ve discussed a lot about searching and viewings of Windsor homes and houses for sale in Windsor, Ontario. We’ve also looked at a variety of important topics your Windsor REALTOR® may discuss with you such as mortgages, when to buy, when to sell, how to prepare your home for sale and how to stay patient in the buyers market. Now go back and read those last few sentences again. You may have noticed that there was the common theme, Windsor. Now that is not to say that Windsor is the only community we discuss. When we talk about market updates or any other real estate topics, people can get stuck on the “main city”, Windsor. Our real estate market is so much more however. It is the LaSalle real estate market, the Amherstburg real estate market, the Tecumseh real estate market, the Essex real estate market. It’s not just Windsor homes for sale, it’s about LaSalle homes for sale, and homes for sale in Tecumseh, or Amherstburg homes for sale. Windsor-Essex County isn’t just about Windsor, each market, each segment within is it’s own little sphere with unique characteristics. Windsor isn’t LaSalle, that isn’t Essex, that isn’t Tecumseh, that isn’t Lakeshore, and so on and so on. That is why we've decided to talk about our area as the Greater Windsor Area, the GWA. No longer are these small townships just offshoots or neighbourhoods of Windsor. The Greater Windsor Area encompasses all of our communities, all of our towns, all of municipalities. Welcome to the Greater Windsor Area, welcome to the GWA!
