Jump In The Community: New Partnership Formed with St. Clair College

Jump Realty Broker of Record and Co-Owner Damon Winney was on hand at the St. Clair College Sports Park for an exciting announcement yesterday.

The college announced that students entering the Journalism and Media Convergence programs this coming Fall at the St. Clair College MediaPlex will have a brand new and innovative class named – Drone Technology and Media Production. This course will be taught by a licensed drone pilot as well as other technology experts. Program Coordinator Veronique Mandal believes it will give the students another skill to add to their resume and as she pointed out, in a competitive field many students are finding roles and jobs in non-traditional media.

On that note, enter Jump Realty. In partnership with the program and the college, Jump has donated two drones for the course. They are also providing internships for MediaPlex students, and establishing a scholarship for students in the Journalism and Public Relations program. Winney was excited for the opportunity Jump has to partner with the college and help give back to the community.
