With the continued effects of the Bank of Canada’s actions with interest rates on home buyers in the Windsor real estate market, many are asking, should I buy now or wait for the continued drop?

Well for starters, buyers looking for houses for sale in Windsor are finding the market to be easier to navigate and participate in versus the past few years. However, there is still some lingering uncertainty and hesitancy from people about starting their search for Windsor homes for sale.

So what should you do? Is the market going to crash? Will the market continue to fall? Is there a recession coming? When is the best time to buy? Should I wait to buy real estate? These are all questions you may be asking yourself or have heard as advice from others. We’ve got the secret answer to all of them, however we’re not sure you’ll like it. “The best time to buy is when the time is right for you. Very few are in a position to perfectly time the market. No one can definitively answer the above questions. We can speculate and look at data and clues to help us decide, but the reality is no one knows for sure. We think we might be close to the bottom of the current cycle. However my advice is still to buy when the time is right for you. If you can handle the payments and are prepared, the market is right for you. Ultimately, real estate is one of the safest long term investments you can make so don’t try to perfectly time the bottom. Take advantage of the conditions when you can.”
