A Windsor holiday favourite event is set to return. Bright Lights Windsor officially kicks off once again at Jackson Park in Downtown Windsor on November 28th, 2025. The gates open at 5:30pm, followed by opening ceremonies and the tree lighting at 6:30 pm.
Bright Lights Windsor will run nightly from 5:30pm to 10:00pm until January 7, 2026. Wondering what is new for Bright Lights Windsor this holioday season? Jackson Park will now have free Wi-Fi provided by a sponsor for the event. There wil also be expanded hours for the W.E. Made It: Holiday Market, they will run from Thursday to Sunday this year. In the Chalet, there will be programming this year with senior programming on Tuesdays and kids programming on Wednesdays. On Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays from 7:00am to 9:00am there will be a Walking Club. In an effort to make the event even more accesible, there will be mobility tours available daily from 4:30pm to 5:30pm. The City of Windsor also announced that their Sensory-friendly “Silent Nights" will return on Monday nights. During these nights the lights will be on, but the sound will be muted and the strobe elements around the park paused so the event can be enjoyed by those with sensory sensitivities. There will be new displays once again, highlighted by the Family Tree Farm. There will also be firework lights, light-up seesaws, a large heart-shaped arch, and new photo opportunities.
