#JumpCares: New Partnership Announced with St. Clair College

Last week, Jump Realty Broker of Record and Co-Owner Damon Winney was in person at the St. Clair College Sports Park for an exciting announcement that links the brokerage with college.

It was announced by the college that students entering the Journalism and Media Convergence programs this coming Fall at the St. Clair College MediaPlex will have a brand new and innovative class on their schedule. Named Drone Technology and Media Production, the course will be taught by a licensed drone pilot as well as other technology experts. Veronique Mandal, the program coordinator, believes it will give students another skill to add to their resume. She continued on discussing how in a competitive field and industry many students are finding roles and jobs in non-traditional media.

That is where Jump Realty has stepped in. Real estate is one of those non-traditional media roles some may find success in as freelancers. In partnership with the program and the college, Jump has donated two drones for the course and students. Jump is also providing internships for MediaPlex students, and establishing a scholarship for students in the Journalism and Public Relations program. Winney was excited for the opportunity Jump has to partner with the college and help give back to the community.
